Full-Time Senior Program Manager - Innovation

AECOM is seeking a Program Management Director to support a large infrastructure program, working remotely.

Focus: Rail/Transit industry, innovation in high-speed rail.

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends to implement innovative solutions reducing project costs and enhancing value.
• Identify, recommend, and implement innovative design, construction solutions, and performance measures to increase contractor/private sector confidence.
• Lead efforts in planning, design, environmental clearance, pre-construction, business planning, financing, agreements, partnerships, procurement, construction, and operations to ensure on-time/on-budget delivery.
• Advise on enterprise-wide improvements in policies, procedures, standards, and systems to ensure alignment and accelerate delivery.
• Engage and coordinate with external parties for communication, relationship building, and public-private partnership agreements.

Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + 10 years' experience or equivalent, including 2 years of leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree and 15+ years' experience in program delivery for large infrastructure programs.
• Proven experience in high-speed rail innovation, business operations, strategy development, or program management (preferably in large-scale infrastructure or public sector projects).
• Knowledge of federal/state transportation policies and practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience liaising with senior leadership, external stakeholders, and government agencies.

Travel: Frequent travel to Sacramento, CA.
