About the role: This Senior Program Manager position focuses on leading AI enablement within Thumbtack's Learning & Development efforts. You'll develop strategies, build impactful learning programs, and create tools to help the team effectively use AI. The role will also contribute to broader L&D initiatives like onboarding, leadership development, and career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Shape AI Learning Strategy: Analyze learner needs to develop a comprehensive AI learning enablement strategy.
- Design Learning Experiences: Create engaging learning programs for various AI skill levels.
- Partner with Business Leaders: Collaborate with teams to integrate AI into their work processes.
- Create Scalable Resources: Design resources like playbooks, job aids, and guides to support daily AI use.
- Experiment with AI in L&D: Explore using AI to enhance L&D programs and operations.
- Support Broader L&D Priorities: Assist with onboarding, leadership development, career growth initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate on a High-Trust Team: Work effectively with a small, experienced team focused on continuous learning.
Requirements:
- L&D Expertise: 8+ years of experience designing and scaling impactful learning programs.
- AI Fluency: Practical experience using AI, whether in L&D, or daily work.
- Strategic Program Leadership: Experience leading multi-phase L&D programs from start to finish.
- Operational Proficiency: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong Communication & Facilitation: Expertise in engaging learning sessions and clear internal communications.
- Growth Mindset: Open to feedback, adaptable, and able to thrive in ambiguity.
- Bias for Action: Ability to move forward in uncertain situations while creating clarity for others.
