Full-Time Senior Program Officer - The Beginnings Fund

• Support the co-design and development of Beginnings Fund country investment plans.
• Conduct thorough grantee due diligence.
• Lead development and writing of investment recommendations.
• Develop strong mutually accountable relationships with grantee partners.
• Support the building of partner consortia in-country.
• Engage other donors and implementing partners to identify areas for co-investment.
• Monitor programmatic effectiveness and grantee’s financial management.
• Identify and mitigate key organizational and programmatic risks.
• Provide technical guidance and support on maternal and newborn health.
• Represent the Beginnings Fund with donors and grantees.
• Collaborate with the Measurement and Evaluation team.
• Coordinate grantee narrative and financial reporting.
• Manage all relevant aspects of grants administration.
• Contribute to organizational learning and strategy development.

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in program management.
• Advanced degree in public health, Global Health, or related field.
• Understanding of maternal and newborn health interventions.
• Ability to manage complex partnerships, projects, and budgets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and Excel.
• Familiarity with the Global Health architecture.
• Knowledge of health systems in Beginnings Fund focus countries.
• Exceptional interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
• Excited to work in a startup environment.
• Collaborative and team-driven mindset.
• Fluency in English.
