Turner & Townsend is seeking an ambitious Senior Project Controls Analyst to join their prestigious technology client's rapidly growing data center team.
The role requires a smart, motivated professional to work closely with global construction teams and various internal departments (including Data Center Analytics, Procurement, and Finance) to support all aspects of project cost management and financial forecasting for the Client's growing data center infrastructure construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide preconstruction support during project approval phase.
- Provide historical cost data and assist in developing annual contractor purchase orders.
- Manage internal project budgets/schedules of values in project management software for monthly financial reporting.
- Manage external project budgets and communications within external project management software.
- Manage monthly forecasts and cash flows, analyze forecast variances, and develop monthly executive reports.
- Manage monthly vendor invoice review process within invoicing software.
- Prepare accurate quarterly accrual reporting for all existing purchase orders.
- Facilitate change order routing and review processes within project management software.
- Review project financial health with management team each month using dashboards, budget software, and schedule comparisons.
- Manage Internal and Contractor Risk Register update & contingency evaluation.
- Conduct financial closeout of internal budgets and vendor purchase orders.
- Work closely with Site Scheduler to ensure financial forecasts and risks align with schedule updates.
- Assist with programmatic initiatives, training, and alignment opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS in Construction Management or Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in construction and project planning.
- Data Center building construction experience.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite.
- Familiarity with cost control tools (eBuilder, Procore, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
