Turner & Townsend is seeking an ambitious Senior Project Controls Analyst to join our prestigious technology client’s rapidly growing data center team. You will be a key player in our technological future, shaping our built environment.
The role requires a smart, motivated professional to work closely with global construction teams and various internal departments (Data Center Analytics, Procurement, and Finance) to support all aspects of project cost management and financial forecasting for our Client’s growing data center infrastructure construction team.
Ideal Candidate: An ambitious construction professional with experience managing and analyzing cost and schedule in large, multi-project construction programs. Data Center building construction experience is required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing preconstruction support during project approval, including historical cost data and assistance in developing annual contractor purchase orders.
- Managing internal project budgets and schedules of values in project management software for monthly financial reporting on multiple New Builds and Retrofit projects.
- Managing external project budgets and communications within external project management software (e.g., commitment management, change management).
- Managing monthly forecasts and cash flows, understanding forecast variances, and developing monthly executive reports.
- Managing vendor invoice review process in invoicing software, including project management review, 3rd party auditing, and communication with Accounts Payable.
- Producing accurate quarterly accrual reporting for all existing purchase orders.
- Facilitating change order routing and review processes.
- Reviewing project financial health with management team each month.
- Managing internal and contractor risk register updates & contingency evaluations.
- Financial closeout of internal budgets and vendor purchase orders.
- Working closely with Site Scheduler to align financial forecasts and risks with schedule updates.
- Assisting with programmatic initiatives and training.
Skills & Experience:
- BA/BS or equivalent in construction management or engineering
- Demonstrated working experience in construction and project planning for large multi-project construction programs
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Google Suite
- Familiarity with cost control tooling (e.g., eBuilder, Procore)
- Ability to communicate financial status and schedule details from multiple construction sites.
Compensation: $120,000 - $155,000 per year (full-time).
On-site presence and requirements may vary based on client needs.
