Full-Time Senior Project Manager - Agency

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Leads internal day-to-day operations and delivery for strategic, creative, and medium-to-high complexity projects (from inception to completion).
• Expert-level project management skills to lead any project/program with limited supervision, primary internal contact for their projects.
• Full lifecycle delivery and management of complex projects (technical, strategic, creative).
• Develops and manages project timelines, estimates, risk registers, communication plans, burn reports, and change logs.
• Leads estimation process; provides project budget and staff plan parameters.
• Leads project timeline creation with stakeholders.
• Leads project kickoffs and status meetings; creates/reviews meeting recaps.
• Oversees and guides Project Managers and Project Coordinators in creating actionable recaps.
• Develops financial forecasts for proactive financial management (with AD and GPD).
• Facilitates monthly billing, analysis, and action (with AD, Finance, and Account).
• Assists with annual/project-based SOW development (with Account Services, AD, and GPD).
• Provides input to program Gantt Charts (with ADs and GPD).
• Assists with change order creation and management (with Account Services, AD, and GPD).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus professional experience.
• 3-5 years PMO experience; Pharmaceutical or advertising experience (AOR or DAOR) preferred.
• Advanced understanding and application of PMO standards and processes.
• Experience leading complex, technology, strategy, and creative-based projects.
• Ability to develop creative, strategic, or technical project plans.
• Ability to tailor and flex processes to solve project challenges proactively.
• Experience leading diverse functional groups and project teams.
• Comprehension of project forecasting and reforecasting.
• Expert burn analysis and remediation.
• Excellent scope and change management skills.
• Client-facing communication comfort.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, risk assessment, and mitigation skills.
• Trust-building, negotiation, and influence skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability; strong decision-making skills.
• Experience with Project Management Information Systems (e.g., Workfront, Smartsheet, MS Project).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel).
• Launch experience a plus.
