Full-Time Senior Project Manager

Ciena is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our Global Services Team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and optimization of Gainsight, Kantata, Salesforce, and other in-house tools.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and resource utilization schedules.
• Collaborate with Business Functional Leads and System Implementors to prioritize requirements, estimate efforts, and allocate resources.
• Coordinate and lead project activities to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Monitor project resources, tasks, risks, and milestones.
• Manage day-to-day project activities for cross-site teams.
• Provide input for vendor negotiations and manage vendor relationships.
• Prepare management reports for project sponsors.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with significant Salesforce expertise.
• Proficiency with at least three of the following tools: Gainsight, Kantata, Salesforce, Snowflake, Zoom, PowerApps, Teams.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and SharePoint.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, SCRUM, and SAFe; certifications in SAFe or SCRUM Master are highly desirable.
• Proven experience managing projects across multiple locations, including global teams.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
