Full-Time Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities

• Leads internal day-to-day operations and delivery for strategic, creative, and complex projects from inception to completion.
• Manages project timelines, estimates, risk registers, communication plans, burn reports, and change logs.
• Leads the estimation, budget, and staff planning processes.
• Leads project kickoffs and status meetings.
• Creates or reviews and distributes meeting recaps; supervises Project Managers and Coordinators.
• Develops financial forecasts with AD and GPD for proactive financial management.
• Facilitates monthly billing, analysis, and action with AD, Finance and Account.
• Assists with developing SOWs (Statement of Work) with Account Services, AD, and GPD.
• Provides input to program Gantt Charts.
• Assists with change order creation and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent + professional experience.
• 3-5 years of PMO experience.
• Pharmaceutical or advertising experience preferred.
• Expert-level project management skills.
• Strong understanding of PMO standards and processes.
• Experience leading complex, technical, strategic, and creative projects.
• Ability to develop project plans.
• Ability to tailor project processes.
• Experience leading diverse functional groups and teams.
• Understanding of project forecasting and reforecasting.
• Expert project and program burn analysis and remediation.
• Excellent scope and change management skills.
• Client-facing communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build trust and influence decision-making.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Strong decision-making and implementation skills.
• Experience with Project Management Information Systems (e.g., Workfront, Smartsheet).
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (especially Excel).
