Senior Project Manager (PM) is a strong and proven high-performing project leader responsible for managing and delivering complex to critical customer-facing projects. Works with new and existing customers and owns overall project activities. Focuses on Schedule, Quality and Cost to ensure successful project delivery and customer value realization.
Ensures alignment to customer goals and internal standards, including the iBase-t Solumina (software) Implementation Methodology (SIM). Collaborates with customers and internal stakeholders to achieve customer value realization, aligns with the statement of work (SOW), and establishes effective governance for projects per the iBase-t Solumina Implementation Methodology (SIM).
Plays a key role in forecasting and achieving resource utilization targets and project-related revenues. Serves as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring strategic alignment, effective governance, and proactive communication.
Contributes to organizational growth by mentoring PMs, forecasting revenue, and preparing for future program leadership roles.
- Owns and executes the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation through closure.
- Engages and manages executive-level relationships as a member of the Executive Steering Committee for led programs/projects.
- Leads high to critical complexity projects, managing budgets, scope, and stakeholder expectations.
- Establishes and enforces PMO project governance structures, roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
- Builds collaborative relationships to increase customer recognition of iBase-t's value, leading to additional engagements.
- Forecasts project-related resources utilization, revenues, and contributes to financial planning.
- Oversees all activities throughout the project lifecycle to achieve customer value.
- Coordinates with Resource Managers to properly staff projects.
- Focal point for internal and external customers; provides frequent project health updates.
- Facilitates the escalation and gate review processes for all project-related issues.
- Works with customers to define and prioritize the product backlog for maximum value.
- Confirms Projects' Key Performance Indicators and Metrics are established and baselined.
- Confirms completion of project documentation while managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Coordinates staffing with Resource Managers and ensures project teams are aligned and efficient.
- Facilitates resolution of escalations and project risks, issues, performance, and baselines project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Metrics.
- Ensures all documentation complies with SIM and PMO procedures.
- Builds and sustains collaborative client relationships that promote repeat engagements.
- Identifies and documents lessons learned and applies continuous improvement practices.
- Mentors mid-level and junior Project Managers, as required.
