AECOM seeks a Senior Environmental Consultant/Project Manager (Remediation) for industrial market projects, focusing on PFAS in the US West Region. The role demands strong project management skills and industrial sector experience in the US. Essential skills include environmental investigation, remediation experience (with a focus on PFAS), forensics, governance, and investigation.
Key responsibilities include supporting business growth and staff management. Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills are critical.
The role requires flexibility, a positive attitude, mentorship, and commitment to health and safety. Support in business development is expected (pre-proposal meetings, site visits, proposal writing, reviews). The successful candidate will implement AECOM's Quality Management System.
Additional responsibilities include building relationships with clients and colleagues, leveraging expertise and networks to maintain and grow key accounts under the AECOM client account management (CAM) program.
Other duties may include identifying and expanding opportunities with existing clients, creating solutions using AECOM's PFAS experience, leading and motivating a team, fostering a positive work environment, providing feedback and development opportunities.
AECOM encourages knowledge-sharing within its extensive PFAS technical practice (across US, Canada, Asia, Australia, Middle East, and Africa).
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Geology, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering) and 10+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's or PhD, 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting/remediation, 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training, proficiency with Microsoft Office.
