Job Details
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join AFRY’s Energy Division. In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of renewable energy projects in Great Britain, Ireland, and Northern Ireland.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage multi-contract and EPC projects.
- Support clients and funders to reach Financial Close.
- Lead tendering and contract negotiations.
- Prepare project delivery plans, budgets, and programmes.
- Administer construction contracts and manage variations and claims.
- Ensure safety standards are met.
- Contribute to business development and mentor junior engineers.
We expect you to have:
- A degree in Engineering, Project Management or Renewables.
- Chartered Engineer or Project Management Professional status (or working towards).
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Project Manager on renewable energy projects.
- Proven track record on business development.
- Excellent communication skills.
Experience in the following would be an advantage:
- Recognised Project Management training.
- Business management experience.
- Consulting services in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
- Commercial awareness and contract knowledge (e.g. FIDIC, NEC or similar).
- Design experience gained from concept development and detailed engineering.
- Practical experience gained from construction, commissioning, and testing.
