Full-Time Senior Python Engineer

As a Senior Python Engineer, you'll impact our tooling, coding standards, and codebase. You'll lead the building and updating of data-driven product features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle NLP and machine learning challenges. We encourage growth and seek engineers to help define architectural principles and adopt new model training frameworks.

1. Develop new features leveraging ingest pipelines and model libraries for searching, analyzing, and understanding large unstructured datasets.
2. Collaborate on Delta product design for information retrieval architecture, document and graph analysis, and search functionality.
3. Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to enhance platform capabilities with new models and algorithms, maintaining performance metrics.
4. Handle massive datasets integrating features like event and topic detection, relation extraction, summarization, entity recognition, document classification, multilingual NLP, and knowledge base generation.

Relevant Skills and Experience:

• Expertise in Python and another Object-Oriented language
• Expertise in Flask, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Experience leading commercial software features end-to-end in an agile environment
• Strong modeling and design patterns for extensibility and resiliency
• Experience with data ingestion, processing, and retrieval systems at scale
• Experience working with real-time and distributed systems

Bonus Points:

• Data-driven engineering using metrics for decision-making and performance/cost tradeoffs
• Experience in NLP/AI/ML focused companies

Compensation: US $160,000 to US $230,000 (negotiable based on experience)
