Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits.
Nearly half of all working Americans are not saving enough for their future.
We seek a proactive, adaptable, and self-starting Senior Revenue Project Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology projects and programs within the Revenue organization.
The ideal candidate should be able to scope and create project plans for large cross-functional initiatives, develop processes, coordinate and drive execution, provide quality control to meet goals, communicate status and blockers to senior management, and document process/product changes.
Reporting to the Director, Revenue Programs, this role will own the strategy and implementation of high-level initiatives that enable our business to exceed growth targets and expand faster.
What you get to do every day:
- Manage a portfolio of complex, often technical initiatives spanning one or multiple lines of business, ensuring we meet our outcomes. These are often revenue-driven initiatives.
- Serve as the SME for project management best practices and contribute to the growth of the team/task force.
- Lead project teams by defining clear project plans, driving project-specific meetings, setting realistic expectations, tactically guiding teams in and outside of your department to deliver project goals, and adhering to project scope and timeline.
- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind leadership decisions.
- Apply analytical and critical thinking to proactively solve for the unknown and mitigate risks with speed without compromising quality (before they become roadblocks).
- Own the entire project life cycle: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
- Create and maintain project documentation and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure documentation is up-to-date while enforcing procedures.
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects; provide the path forward to address areas of concern and collaborate towards a solution.
- Work cross-functionally to identify gaps between teams, processes, and systems, help teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions, security not considered, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.) and have a strong bias for action.
- Create executive status reports around your projects and lead cross-functional meetings.
