Senior Robotics Software QA Engineer
Daily Software Testing & Validation: Execute and oversee daily software release testing on our internal fleet of Digit robots. Identify, analyze, and log issues in new software builds.
Test Development & Automation: Develop and refine structured test cases. Identify opportunities for test automation.
Debugging & Root Cause Analysis: Develop expertise in robot software and hardware systems. Collaborate with QA test operators.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with robotics teams to establish best practices. Define and improve processes.
Documentation & Reporting: Generate detailed test reports. Maintain up-to-date test documentation.
About You: MS in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience (or BS with 8+ years).
Skills: Robotics software testing, validation, debugging, troubleshooting robotic systems, embedded software, perception, controls, locomotion, scripting languages (Python), robot simulation environments, analytical mindset.
