Full-Time Senior Ruby Developer

At Fullscript, we're transforming healthcare. We help healthcare practitioners support patients with a platform for evidence-based health solutions. We're looking for an experienced Senior Ruby Developer to build a platform for rich, stable, and compelling experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead solution design for key initiatives related to product discovery and catalog search, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Partner with Frontend Engineers to architect scalable backend systems.
• Collaborate with Search Algorithm teams to build robust and seamless backend infrastructure for intelligent search.
• Drive continuous technical improvements by establishing and upholding engineering quality standards.
• Provide code reviews and mentor team members.

Requirements:

• Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails.
• Proficient in writing tests.
• Desire to learn and embrace feedback.
• Understanding of design patterns and clean code.
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior engineers (preferred).
• Experience scaling high-scale web applications (preferred).
• Experience in e-commerce or health-tech (preferred).
• Experience with React, or similar technologies (preferred).
• Experience with ElasticSearch, or similar technologies (preferred).
• Experience with GraphQL (preferred).
