Senior Scheduler - Onsite in Baltimore
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join their team. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record of successfully managing scheduling on prior projects or programs.
Responsibilities:
- Work in an integrated planning, cost, and risk environment to optimize resource use and meet project budget/time constraints.
- Ensure adherence to established planning and scheduling methodology.
- Develop project milestone and progress tracking baselines.
- Assess subcontractor compliance with scheduling methodology.
- Contribute to Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development for performance measurement.
- Analyze schedule data, identify trends/issues, and communicate findings to the Project Director and team.
- Collaborate with internal/external clients on project schedules.
- Mentor and coach the planning team.
- Lead schedule reporting, including forecasts and contingency management for specific work packages.
- Lead timely schedule updates, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure contractor schedules align with integrated schedules/milestones.
- Analyze resource requirements and availability impacts on the schedule, recommending recovery options.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
- Graduate degree (preferred) in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant scheduling experience in the construction industry.
- Experience in complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proficiency in network planning structures and techniques.
- Experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to assist with wider business initiatives (e.g., RFP responses).
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel (when required).
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year.
