Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler to work with our team in Dallas, TX on a large-scale data center construction program.
The Senior Scheduler should have experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to plan, develop and execute construction schedules for mission critical facilities. This includes new-builds and retrofits.
The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of scheduling best practices, resource & cost loaded scheduling, overall construction project controls as well as the interpersonal skills to be able to work closely with the internal stakeholders of the project team on a daily basis.
The Senior Scheduler will take responsibility for end to end service delivery and to act as key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
- Regular travel to construction site
- Effectively work with Stakeholders, Clients, Contractors and Sub Contractors
- Develop and maintain a detailed construction program schedule using Primavera P6 and Tableau
- Ensure schedule related data from vendors, suppliers, engineering and construction contractors is provided for planning and scheduling systems.
- Implement Project Planning & Scheduling strategy
- Actively work with project managers, construction firms and subcontractor firms
- Provide interface and quality assurance to Project functional groups and contractors
- Coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs
- Prepare and update progress reports
- Produce high level and 1, 3, 6 month look ahead from P6
- Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules and contractor schedules
- Actively monitor and communicate project issues
- Conduct project schedule analysis, critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis
- Analyze deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule
- Knowledge of system start-up sequences and major dependencies
- Able to convert data into Tableau reports
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience creating and managing large-scale construction schedules in Primavera P6
- A background in Project Controls is beneficial
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and construction sequencing
- Experience working in mission critical environments
- Construction experience
- Understanding of best practice in construction program delivery
Education:
- BS Degree in Engineering or Business
Salary: $120,000 - $185,000 per year
