Full-Time Senior Scientist - Biopharmaceutical Drug Development

We are seeking a Senior Scientist to expand Eurofins Amatsigroup NV.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and characterize drug products (antibodies, oligonucleotides, proteins, peptides).
• Develop methods, implement biophysical screening techniques, and design trials to evaluate stability (chemical & physical) of biomolecules.
• Plan, perform, interpret, and report experimental work in a high-tech environment.
• Investigate new techniques to improve services.
• Act as a lead scientist, coordinating experimental formulation and characterization tasks, guiding junior team members.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Bio-Engineering, (Bio)Chemistry, Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Pharmacy, or equivalent experience.
• Strong interest in drug research & development and production technologies.
• Accurate, technically-minded, able to work independently.
• Experience in developing and characterizing formulations (antibodies, oligonucleotides, proteins, peptides).
• Knowledge of spray drying, lyophilization, or Lipid nanoparticle (LNP) development is beneficial.
• Strong written & oral communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in software like Word & Excel.
