Senior Service Manager – West Mercia Child Exploitation Service
Catch22 is recruiting for a Senior Service Manager for the West Mercia Child Exploitation Service. This role manages the strategic development and operational aspects of the integrated service, funded by the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner.
Integrated Child Exploitation Service: A specialist service for children, young people under 18, and their families at risk of, currently experiencing, or impacted by child criminal or sexual exploitation in the West Mercia region.
The service has four teams located in Worcestershire, Telford and Wrekin, Herefordshire & Shropshire.
This role supports the development of the Young People and Families (YPF) Hub, including learning & development, performance & impact, business development, and broader work streams as needed. Collaboration with the YPF SMT is critical, and the role leads implementation of the YPF strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality services meeting targets, standards, and KPIs; address underperformance.
- Recruit, manage, motivate, coach, and develop a staff team (appraisals, supervision).
- Manage staff health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Manage subcontractors and strategic partners; conduct performance and quality reviews to ensure deliverables.
- Consider diverse needs and aspirations of all service users in service planning and delivery.
Travel required: National travel to regional offices. Occasional evening and weekend work.
Qualifications/Experience: Relevant experience or qualification in youth, community, health, or social care.
Benefits: Permanent position, 30 hours per week (4 days), salary £46,801 - £49,000 (FTE)
