Contractor Senior Sessional Worker

The NLCBF supports professional and practice development for 130 local authority leaving care services, aiming for optimal outcomes for young people transitioning to adulthood.

Role Overview:

• Support the Catch22 Co-production and Engagement Lead in coordinating and directly working with young people involved in the Young People’s Benchmarking Forum (YPBMF).
• Assist in recruiting young people for co-production workshops.
• Handle administrative tasks for organizing meetings and events.
• Collaborate with the Co-production and Engagement Lead and young people to prepare for meetings, gather feedback, and develop presentations.
• Support the development of the NLCBF & YPBMF with young people.
• Accompany and support young people at NLCBF & YPBMF events, workshops, and meetings.
• Liaise/communicate with external agencies, organizations, or local authority services/departments (as directed).
• Attend and prepare for regular supervision with the line manager.
• Flexibility: Work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends; travel nationally for events; comply with Health and Safety and Safeguarding policies and procedures.
