Full-Time Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Together with our partner Lanes & Planes, we are currently looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d).

Lanes & Planes was founded in 2016 to make business travel easier, more efficient and more cost-effective. With an all-in-one platform, they combine travel management, booking, billing and expense management.

Tasks

• Configuration, integration and monitoring of the on-premise infrastructure based on Linux servers.
• Monitoring system performance with tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Automating infrastructure management with Ansible.
• Working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and optimising their performance.
• Taking care of containerisation with Incus.
• Bringing a software engineering mindset to system administration and improving collaboration between development and operations.

Requirements

• More than six years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer specializing in Linux systems (preferably Ubuntu).
• In-depth knowledge of Linux server administration, system monitoring (e.g. with Prometheus/Grafana) and automation with Ansible.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and container orchestration.
• Team player with an independent, goal- and solution-oriented way of working.
• Strong analytical-strategic mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
