Jahnel Group is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based software solutions. This role blends software engineering and systems administration, supporting and enhancing critical infrastructure.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Designs, builds, and maintains robust cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS.
- Mentorship: Provides technical guidance to junior SREs.
- Automation: Implements process improvements through automation.
- Performance Management: Develops strategies to meet SLOs and SLAs.
- Incident Management: Leads incident response and root cause analysis.
- Optimization: Identifies performance bottlenecks and optimizes resource utilization.
- Security: Implements cloud security best practices.
- 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering.
- Extensive expertise in AWS.
- Experience with GitOps practices and CI/CD tooling.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience designing and maintaining observability stacks.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- In-depth knowledge of Linux systems and networking.
