Job Details
Join Ledger's SRE team. We are looking for a talented Senior Site Reliability Engineer to drive technology transformation at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to DevOps/SRE culture and modern infrastructure practices.
- Build the SRE team roadmap, anticipating stakeholder needs and emerging technologies.
- Integrate platform software components.
- Design and deliver solutions for improved system availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement SRE best practices.
- Automate key SRE metrics (SLOs/SLAs, error budgets).
- Provide expert support to Level 2/Application support teams.
- Conduct incident post-mortems and proactively predict issues using analytics.
- Manage technical debt and promote quality practices.
- Apply chaos engineering principles to predict and prevent outages.
- Drive adoption of self-healing patterns.
- Conduct performance tests, identify bottlenecks, and optimize systems.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience at scale in SaaS environments.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux, Git, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Ansible).
- Strong knowledge of observability practices (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana/Loki).
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
