As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in combining software and systems engineering to build, maintain, and enhance mission-critical services.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with diverse software engineering team, engaging in iterative processes and effective task planning.
- Own the end-to-end availability and performance of services, proactively identifying and solving issues, implementing automation to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in on-call rotation, ensuring system stability and responsiveness during off-hours.
- Foster collaboration with other engineering teams, promoting reuse of frameworks and gaining operational insights.
- Lead development, implementation, and achievement of service-level objectives for product reliability.
- Collaborate with software engineers to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software releases.
- Automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using industry-standard tools and best practices.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies to enhance scalability and resource utilization.
- Maintain and enhance version control systems for codebase management.
- Drive the SRE/DevOps roadmap, assuming full ownership and engaging in strategic planning and negotiation.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
