Full-Time Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Data

About the role: Seeking a dedicated engineer to focus on infrastructure and uptime. Will collaborate with platform, front-end, back-end, and operations teams. Experience scaling databases like ClickHouse and performance engineering is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cloud infrastructure and global data infrastructure.
• Ensure databases run smoothly and securely.
• Build ultra-reliable, failure-resistant infrastructure.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Build Kubernetes clusters globally.
• Write GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Opentofu scripts.
• Build and maintain observability solutions with relevant alerts.
• Manage AWS security.

Requirements:

• Strong database proficiency, performance optimization, and query writing skills.
• Secure implementation experience on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Linux node configuration for optimal performance at scale.
• Experience with AWS CDK, EKS, ASG, and other relevant services.
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge, understanding scaling techniques.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
• Experience with ARM-based machines.
• 4+ years experience owning, managing, and securing distributed systems on cloud providers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bonus: AI model experience.
