Full-Time Senior Software Engineer, Ads Creative Management

Ads Creative Management team is building new tools to store, catalog, and optimize advertiser images, videos, and text. As a key member, you'll have significant ownership and opportunity to build AI-based tools from the ground up.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll build tools to make it easier for advertisers to create effective ads on Reddit. Leverage your knowledge of asset storage, management, AI/LLMs, and scaling services to develop world-class tooling.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code.
• Design and build solutions across systems.
• Collaborate with management and leadership for technical/business alignment.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for feature development and problem-solving.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as a software engineer with recent senior experience.
• Experience with large-scale projects (0-to-1).
• Excellent communication skills (remote collaboration, technical/non-technical audiences).
• System analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Software development experience in languages like Python, Golang, Rust, Java, or Javascript.

Bonus Points:

• Ads industry experience
• Experience with LLMs and generative AI
