Full-Time Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Food Shopping and QCommerce teams. We're a rapidly growing company changing the food delivery landscape. You'll be part of an agile team, influencing, executing, and seeing the impact of your work on millions of users.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Delivering high-quality software handling hundreds of thousands of requests per minute.
2. Investigating new technologies and strategies for scaling to larger datasets and faster speeds.
3. Collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps engineers, and Tech leads to build reliable systems.
4. Participating in code reviews.
5. Using modern software development methodologies and agile processes.
6. Experimenting with new frameworks and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• University/Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in microservices development.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages like Go, Java, Python, C++, or C#.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Postgres).
• Understanding of SOLID principles and software design patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills (English is required).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with cloud services providers (AWS preferred).
• Experience working in an Agile team.
• Involvement with open-source projects.
