Full-Time Senior Software Engineer

Job OverviewThe ESS Analytics team is accelerating Experian's impact by bringing together data, tech, and data science and build game-changing products and services for our customers. We are looking for a Senior Engineer to help develop our AI platform and products to serve the needs of Experian's clients, including those in the financial services. In this remote role, you will report to the Engineering Director. We are solving questions like - How can we increase the complexity and scalability of our loan originations modeling approach? How can we handle important issues in the lending space today like bias, fairness and explainable AI?

Responsibilities

1. Manage technical teams, assigning tasks and ensuring coordinated efforts towards project goals.
2. Lead complex software development projects, including resource allocation, timeline management and risk mitigation.
3. Provide coaching to junior team members.
4. Architect solutions for intricate technical problems or system improvements.
5. Implement the technical strategy for product development, including technology selection and improvement plans.
6. Manage Agile transformation projects at the organizational level, promoting Agile methodologies across several teams and departments.
7. Develop full stack components of our analytics product platforms on AWS.
8. Help develop GenAI product use cases and deliverables.
9. Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to expand the value of Analytics offerings.
10. Enhance the product to reduce the cost footprint while maximizing scalability and stability.
11. Maintain our culture of high-quality code and full CI/CD automation and deliver enterprise software.
12. Support troubleshooting and evaluation of production issues when needed.
13. Test writing discipline in standard development processes

Requirements

• 12+ years of industry experience with object-oriented programming and asynchronous programming
• Bachelor's in computer science or related field
• Experience with full stack application development and general web development concepts
• Experience giving constructive feedback with pull requests and code reviews
• Experience with production software development in React.js
• Experience using NodeJS and Python to create scalable REST APIs
• Knowledge of scrum and Agile processes
• GenAI, Kubernetes, and Helm experience
• Experience using Docker in development workflows (preferred)
