Full-Time Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer (backend), you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining our platform, contributing to our mission of accessibility.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Lead Engineers and Product Managers to deliver solutions, applying agile principles, building and maintaining products, writing well-tested and maintainable code, participating in technical discussions and code reviews, adhering to coding standards, and addressing complex situations.

You'll mentor other engineers, monitor services, and contribute to technical patterns.

Skills Required:

• Proven Node.js development experience, preferably with TypeScript
• Strong React or similar front-end experience
• REST API development
• Relational or NoSQL database experience
• Serverless architecture experience (AWS preferred)
• Refactoring experience (abstraction, facades)
• Continuous learning and skill development
• Independent problem-solving
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Understanding of agile practices
• Unit and integration testing experience

Bonus Skills:

• Data structures and data-driven design knowledge
• FoSS projects or technical articles contributions
• Up-to-date with modern development practices
