Airbnb Community Support Platform (CSP) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to build solutions that improve the agent experience. This team builds the core software software that empower our global support agents, directly impacting agent experience and service quality for guests and hosts.
Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering counterparts to execute product and business strategy.
- Drive and contribute to the full development cycle (technical design, development, testing, analysis, and launch).
- Review code and design docs, provide feedback on product specs and mocks.
- Build efficient and reusable backend components, maintaining performance and scalability.
- Provide critical input on team roadmap and technical direction.
- Mentor junior developers.
Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of industry experience.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in backend languages (Java/Kotlin/C++).
- Experience building and scaling high-quality, high-traffic products or systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, including collaboration with engineering, product, and design teams.
- Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems.
