Full-Time Senior Software Engineer, Developer Experience

Vanta's Developer Experience team builds tools for engineers to rapidly bring ideas to production.

Your responsibilities include:

• Setting direction for critical dev infrastructure to support rapid growth.
• Designing and building CI/CD systems for robust product development.
• Improving deployment workflows, including hotfixes, rollbacks, and incident mitigation.
• Developing tools to accelerate feedback loops (typechecking, linting, testing, deployment).
• Building and maintaining scalable development environments, test infrastructure, and core dev tooling.
• Introducing and scaling AI-enhanced developer tools to improve engineer productivity.
• Collaborating with talented engineers to impact the customer base and their security.
• Contributing to Vanta's growing engineering culture.

Success in this role requires:

• Technical leadership experience in DevEx or platform teams.
• Experience with build systems, CI/CD, and scaling developer workflows.
• Deep care for performance, reliability, and usability in daily engineering tools.
• Thoughtful decision-making and strong product sense when building internal tools.
