Full-Time Senior Software Engineer - Fandango

Fandango is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer.

As a software engineer, you will join a team to build and deliver projects and features critical to Fandango's business.

Responsibilities:

• Build and release features for high-profile eCommerce sites
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Support and maintain build processes
• Perform code reviews and collaborate with peers
• Interact with Product Managers and Quality Engineers
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retros, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and fix production issues
• Mentor team members

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer (Front-End or Full-Stack)
• Deep understanding of current web software design patterns
• Expert proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries (React/Redux, Angular, etc.)
• Experience with Git and source code control
• Understanding of web development principles (DOM, semantic markup, performance optimization)
• Knowledge of networking, infrastructure, and security fundamentals
• Familiarity with the entire web stack

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test-driven and behavior-driven development
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
• Experience with the latest web standards (HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript)
