Full-Time Senior Software Engineer Registry

Role: Senior Software Engineer - Registry Platform

This role leads the transition of our Model Registry to a scalable Global Registry, supporting large foundation model builders and ML model fine-tuning.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural transformation of the Registry platform, designing systems for millions/billions of artifacts.
• Dive deep into systems to optimize, solve complex bugs, and make informed decisions.
• Identify and refactor technical debt to improve code maintainability and developer productivity.
• Mentor a team of 3-4 Software Engineers.
• Establish engineering patterns and best practices.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate user requirements.
• Interface with customers, gather feedback, and incorporate it into development.
• Practice agile methodologies with users at the center.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in technical leadership.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Strong proficiency in at least one compiled language (C++, C, C#, Go), with Go preferred.
• Expert-level TypeScript knowledge with frontend optimization experience.
• Advanced GraphQL APIs, query optimization, and data fetching.
• Success improving performance and maintainability of complex web applications.
• Proven experience mentoring engineers.
• Comfort diagnosing and solving complex bugs across the full stack.
• Excellent communication skills.
