Senior Solutions Architect at Docker.
Summary: High-impact role working with a team of solution architects to deliver outstanding results for enterprise customers and partners. Ensure customer success with Docker platform and support their business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve high customer satisfaction through technical engagement, best practices sharing, issue prevention, and delivering value.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to support customer success.
- Discovery: Determine implementation needs and recommend Docker product best practices.
- Onboarding: Assist clients with Docker product onboarding, integration with existing infrastructure, and IT practices.
- Present application development topics using Docker products (Docker Desktop).
- Develop application code for demos and workshops.
- Present Docker and DevOps topics, demonstrating key features.
- Address technical questions and escalate critical issues.
- Conduct virtual/in-person customer meetings.
- Advocate for product enhancements with Engineering/Product Management.
- Present to technical executives and directors.
- Coordinate critical support issues and maintain continuity across teams.
- Create technical content (presentations, white papers, knowledge base articles, diagrams, demos).
- Guide customers to sustainable, scalable Docker environments using best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience developing customer collateral for best practice adoption.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams (technical support, product, engineering).
- Experience managing customer relationships (technical and business).
- Experience presenting to small and large audiences (virtual/in-person).
- Experience developing application code and understanding developer challenges.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud services (VMWare, Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Ability to solve technical problems and translate customer feedback for engineering.
- Experience with DevOps concepts and tools (continuous integration, deployment, serverless architecture, DORA metrics).
- Experience with Docker containers and the container ecosystem.
- Experience with Docker Desktop or other Docker products.
- Experience in Linux and Windows administration.
- Experience with WSL2/HyperV.
- Ability to travel to customer locations.
- Experience with infrastructure layers (networking, storage, security, operating systems).
