Full-Time Senior SRE - Bitcoin

P2P.org is the largest staking and restaking operator, with a TVL of over $8B. We are constantly launching new yield products (e.g., Polkadot, Ethereum). We also launch new networks (e.g., TON, Avail, Monad, Babylon). We strongly believe in Bitcoin and the DeFi ecosystem around it.

Bitcoin Team: Building P2P.org's business across Bitcoin-related networks (Babylon, CoreDAO, Mezo, Pell.Network). Focus on secure validation services, onboarding institutional and retail investors.

Responsibilities:

1. Blockchain Leadership & Architecture: Drive architectural decision-making for complex, multi-cloud infrastructures focused on Bitcoin. Ensure market leadership by identifying key metrics and guiding internal solution development. Mentor and empower the SRE team.
2. Infrastructure & Automation: Design, provision, and maintain cloud environments. Deploy and manage highly available, resilient workloads. Streamline processes for blockchain validators.
3. Reliability, Monitoring & Security: Implement observability solutions. Continuously improve reliability and security through patching and performance tuning. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
4. Open-Source & Ecosystem Contributions: Contribute to open-source projects shaping the Bitcoin ecosystem. Stay current on Bitcoin innovations.

Requirements:

• Blockchain Expertise: Previous blockchain company experience. Proven experience running and configuring Bitcoin or Tendermint infrastructure (nice to have).
• Technical Mastery: Linux administration (hardware optimization), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), DevOps workflows (Git, CI/CD), Kubernetes, microservices, GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Argo workflows, Helm, GitHub Actions), hybrid cloud (GCP, Oracle Cloud).
• Programming & Automation: Proficiency in Shell, Python, Golang or similar languages.
• Observability & Security: Observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OTEL). Strong grasp of security best practices, secrets management (HashiCorp Vault).
• English: B2+ level.
