Full-Time Senior SRE Engineer

dxFeed is a leading provider of data services for the Capital Markets industry.

We are seeking an experienced Senior SRE Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient systems.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem evaluations.
• Develop advanced automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and auto-scaling.
• Engage in capacity planning, performance analysis, and system tuning.
• Spearhead architectural decisions, technology selection, and strategic planning.
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams.
• Provide assistance to developers.
• Install, manage, integrate, and evolve in-house and external monitoring systems.
• Communicate with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automation, IaaC, SaaC, cloud-based deployments.
• Amazon AWS and other cloud experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP stack.
• Strong networking (routing, switching, IP, TCP, UDP, VPN, DNS) knowledge.
• Gitlab, Ansible, etc. in-depth experience.
• CI/CD and DevOps activities experience.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (awk, perl, etc.).
• Experience with cluster technologies and high-availability systems is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Production systems support experience.
• Good written and spoken English.

• CDN architecture experience.
• WAN technologies experience.
• Trading/Exchange/Risk management software usage and management.
• Tomcat, Apache, nginx, haproxy webserver experience.
• Atlassian software (Jira, Confluence, etc.) experience.
