Full-Time Senior Staff, AI Search Architect

• Design and architect enterprise search systems ensuring scalability and high availability.
• Improve precision, recall, and user satisfaction via tuning, personalization, and ranking strategies.
• Drive AI-powered search capabilities including RAG, embedding-based retrieval, and semantic search.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data sources across the enterprise for unified search.
• Partner with ML/NLP teams to fine-tune search ranking algorithms and LLM-based query understanding.
• Lead adoption of ServiceNow AI Search features and create reusable search patterns.
• Evaluate and incorporate relevant enterprise search tools.
• Guide best practices in multi-tenant indexing and real-time indexing pipelines.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to design engaging search experiences.
• Monitor and optimize search KPIs.

• 15+ years of experience in search architecture or AI/ML applied to enterprise search platforms.
• Deep understanding of search ranking and semantic techniques.
• Experience building RAG pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and search technologies.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow AI Search features and architecture.
• Expertise in NLP, LLMs, embedding generation, and retrieval quality optimization.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Understanding of ServiceNow’s architecture and Now Platform data constructs.
• Prior experience implementing search in enterprise ecosystems.
• Experience with vector database performance optimization.
