Full-Time Senior Systems Software Developer

Salary Range: $170,000 to $190,000 yearly. Exact pay varies based on skills, experience, and location.

Overview: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Software Developer. Proven track record in developing, maintaining, and supporting advanced software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains AD production baseline with accurate software configuration management across multiple releases.
• Develops and implements a fully integrated systems infrastructure, complete with management processes.
• Supports CI/CD initiatives, ensuring seamless integration.
• Performs upgrading configurations, delivery automation, and backlog grooming.
• Minimizes program risk exposure and ensures technical solutions are safe, secure, extensible, and scalable.
• Establishes and documents standard operating procedures.
• Offers in-depth knowledge on IRS tax processing systems.
• Works as a key member of an Integrated Project Team (IPT).

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years professional software development experience.
• Strong Java development experience (Java EE/SE, JSP, JSF, Hibernate).
• Proven ability to design, develop, and integrate web services.
• Experience with Oracle 10g/11g, Oracle RAC, and middleware rules engines (e.g., Drools).
• Expertise in CI/CD processes with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Proven experience with cloud-based development, Docker, and OpenShift.
• Experience implementing cyber security policies, and understanding FISMA.

Desired Skills: Senior development role experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field recommended.
