Technical Expertise & Strategy
- Expert Knowledge: Gain expert knowledge of product technical aspects.
- Technical Roadmap: Interface with Product Managers and Engineering Leaders to drive the execution of the technical roadmap.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing workflows and propose improvements.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Product Manager Partnership: Collaborate with Product Manager(s) to translate their strategic Product vision into measurable outcome-based epics.
- Scope Advising: Advise the Product Manager on scope trade-offs based on team capacity and technical feasibility.
- Delivery Visibility: Stay informed on development status and execution detail.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Manage cross-team coordination and dependencies.
Work Management & Execution
- Work Synchronization: Synchronize the work with the team's ability to execute.
- Story Refinement (Technical): Collaborate with Technical Lead(s) to translate outcome based Epics into technically feasible and well-designed stories.
- Risk & Debt Management: Coordinate with Technical Lead(s) to identify technical risks and debt.
- Priority Management: Support the Technical Lead(s) and Engineering Leader(s) in ensuring the team stays focused.
- Agile Leadership: Lead technical aspects of Agile events.
Documentation & Communication
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a primary point of contact between the technical team and stakeholders.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a software engineering, technical project manager, technical product owner or similar role.
Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and modern technology concepts.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Tools: Proficiency with work management tools and documentation platforms.
Soft Skills: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
