As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Shipping Platforms, you collaborate closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to drive technical initiatives within the organization.
This role combines the skills of an analyst, engineer, architect, and project/program manager. You participate in solution architectural design, validate and recommend solutions, and actively participate in building strategies.
Technical Experience is essential to support business partners and projects with technical knowledge and expertise. You must understand business processes in the consumer/operations area.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting business development activities by providing technical proposals, budget estimates, and business case presentations.
- Participating in requirements creation, conducting analyses, and identifying key project/program development factors.
- Supporting teams in defining goals, setting priorities, and implementing projects/programs.
- Managing mid-scale and large-impact technological projects, including technical strategy, solutioning, and program execution (roadmap, supervision, troubleshooting).
- Leading and coordinating end-to-end technical project/program planning, execution, and delivery.
- Collaborating with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope, solution, timelines, and milestones.
- Driving alignment across teams and domains, managing dependencies, and mitigating risks and blockers.
- Maintaining clear and regular communication with stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and changes.
- Understanding system architecture and functionality, assessing feasibility of client requests, and applying product features as applicable.
- Working independently and self-reliantly.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in engineering, project management, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of proven project leadership experience.
- 3+ years of related work experience in IT technologies.
- Good knowledge of IT technologies for design and high-level analysis.
- Proven ownership and follow-through on tasks, decision-making, and result-orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influencing.
- Fluent English verbal and written communication.
- (Desired) Knowledge of system integrations.
- (Desired) Logistics services industry experience.
