Senior Technical Project Manager 1 will be a member of the Global Consulting Operations team, supporting multiple projects with technical teams, clients, and stakeholders.
This role focuses on Unit 42's Digital Forensics and Incident Response engagements, and Proactive Service engagements, reporting directly to the Unit 42 Security Consulting Project Management Office (PMO).
Your Impact:
- Manage projects by defining schedules and goals based on Statements of Work (SOWs) and communicating with clients.
- Maintain and update client status reports.
- Identify project issues and risks, escalating them to the project Engagement Lead.
- Partner and guide technical team members to accomplish project goals, ensuring task execution and progress monitoring.
- Support quality solutions to exceed client expectations.
- Understand Professional Services team skillsets.
- Partner with consulting leadership on staffing needs.
- Develop strong internal and external stakeholder partnerships.
- Partner with the Engagement Lead to adhere to budget, timeframe, and client satisfaction goals.
- Manage customer expectations and conflict resolution.
Your Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of professional project management experience, focusing on Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Cyber Risk/Controls, or related technical areas.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lead multiple large-scale projects, creating plans, ensuring on-time task execution and documentation.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize, solve problems, multitask, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Asana, and Clarizen preferred.
- Previous direct client/customer consulting experience preferred.
