Senior Technical Project Manager 1 will be a member of the Global Consulting Operations team and will be responsible for supporting multiple projects concurrently in partnership with technical teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.
This role focuses on Unit 42's Digital Forensics and Incident Response engagements, and Proactive Service engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects, defining schedules and goals based on Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Communicate directly with clients.
- Maintain and update status reports for external clients.
- Identify and escalate project issues/risks to the Engagement Lead.
- Partner and guide technical team members, ensuring task execution and progress monitoring.
- Deliver quality solutions exceeding client expectations.
- Maintain understanding of Professional Services skill sets.
- Partner with consulting leadership on staffing needs.
- Develop strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure projects adhere to budget and timeframe guidelines, working with the Engagement Lead to increase client satisfaction and deepen relationships.
- Manage customer expectations and resolve conflicts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of project management experience in cybersecurity, digital forensics, incident response, cyber risk/controls, or related technical fields.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Ability to lead multiple large-scale projects, creating plans and ensuring on-time execution and documentation.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize projects, solve problems meticulously, multitask, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and confidentiality skills.
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite, Asana, and Clarizen preferred.
- Direct client/customer consulting experience preferred.
