Full-Time Senior UX Engineer

About the Role: UX Engineers at ATPCO synthesize design and development. They partner with UX designers, product managers, and full-stack engineers to create customer-centered interfaces for airline retailing innovation. Senior UX Engineers focus on the 3Victors suite of products, enabling customers to make strategic pricing decisions using AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive front-end development on key applications, collaborating with full-stack and backend teams.
• Develop innovative, engaging prototypes using modern front-end technologies.
• Design and build components for ATPCO's design system.
• Advocate for end-users and customer outcomes throughout the development process.
• Collaborate with designers and UX researchers, synthesizing feedback.
• Articulate feasibility impact for non-technical team members.
• Document for teammates and design system users.
• Write automated unit, E2E, and visual regression tests.
• Mentor junior UX engineers and peers.
• Provide code review feedback, sharing best practices.
• Stay updated on tech trends and experiment with new technologies improving UX engineering.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of front-end engineering experience.
• Expert with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
• Understanding of contemporary design system principles and tools.
• Experience developing applications on a public cloud.
• Strong understanding of human-computer interaction design.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
