Full-Time Senior Video Editor

We're looking for a talented Senior Video Editor who will take creative ownership of our video projects from initial footage to final delivery. This is primarily a hands-on editing role where you'll craft compelling narratives, set the right pacing, and ensure high production values across all projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Craft compelling, high-quality edits aligning with brand tone and storytelling objectives
2. Execute skilled editing with a strong sense of timing, composition, pacing, and mood
3. Perform color correction and grading to achieve the project's visual style
4. Create and integrate motion graphics and visual effects as needed
5. Edit and mix audio, ensuring high-quality sound integration
6. Work directly with footage to develop rough cuts, fine cuts, and final versions
7. Adapt content for various platform specifications (broadcast, web, social media)
8. Stay current with editing techniques and storytelling trends in the industry
9. Provide input during pre-production to ensure smooth post-production workflow
10. Assist with organizing post-production schedules and timelines
11. Manage media and dailies during commercial shoots when needed
12. Coordinate with specialists for advanced color, sound, or VFX needs
13. Maintain organized project files, assets, and archives
14. Manage Frame.io for edit reviews and feedback implementation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve)
• 2-3 years experience working directly on commercial or branded content
• 2-3 years experience animating motion graphics with After Effects
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional video editing capabilities
• Deep understanding of editing techniques, storytelling principles, and visual aesthetics
• Experience editing for different aspect ratios (16:9, 4:5, 9:16)
• Technical expertise with codecs, file formats, and media management
• Ability to receive and implement creative feedback effectively
• Problem-solving skills to navigate technical and creative challenges
• Clear communication skills to collaborate with creative teams and stakeholders
