Full-Time Site Installation Supervisor II

Site Installation Supervisor II is a self-managing, high-energy individual responsible for mechanical and general installation activities on-site for BEUMER system projects.

Role Highlights:

• Key support to the project management team, with direct customer interaction.
• Coordinates contractor and worker activities, ensuring high-quality, safe work to meet project goals.
• Potential lead role on-site, or part of a team.
• Works with conveyors, integrated systems, and third-party/customer equipment.
• Requires extensive travel (up to 90%).

Leadership and Teamwork:

• Promotes safe and reliable activities aligned with BEUMER objectives.
• Adheres to existing and emerging codes/regulations.
• Improves and follows project scope/contract details.
• Interfaces with others to ensure timely/budget-conscious job delivery.
• Documents contractor activities, prepares reports, and verifies accuracy.
• Assures completion and accuracy of Quality Assurance (QA) checks, including NCC's.
• Prepares/maintains job boxes with required tools/hardware.
• Supports Team Leader/Manager with management tasks.
• Participates in kick-off/job close-out meetings.
• Manages daily installation, keeping the Project Manager and team updated.
• Develops/maintains professional relationships with site/project personnel.
• Serves as BEUMER's on-site representative for customer and subcontractors.
• Follows claims/change management processes.
• Utilizes BEUMER Group processes and professionalism.
• Assigns tasks, coordinates workflow to meet schedules.
• Maintains a clean, inventoried site.

Technical and Quality:

• Supervises contractors/supervisors on drawings, RFQs, and quality control.
• Supports equipment start-up and commissioning.
• Reviews mechanical drawing packages.
• Layouts equipment using supplied drawings.
• Monitors entire system's mechanical installation.
• Resolves mechanical issues/failures promptly.
• Coordinates with Engineering (mechanical, software) and third-party vendors.
• Ensures materials and work match specifications.
• Manages site logistics, including material handling for subcontractors.
• Sources materials, proposes cost-effective solutions.
• Secures job site and company equipment safely.

Requirements:

• 5+ years' electro/mechanical experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Installation drawing interpretation ability
• Forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift certifications
• Intermediate welding skills
• Planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Heavy lifting/material handling ability
• Positive and energetic demeanor
• Initiative, discretion, and confidentiality
• Punctuality and strong communication skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Valid Driver's License
• Up to 90% travel (domestic/international)
