The Site Installation Supervisor II is responsible for mechanical and general installation activities on-site for BEUMER system projects. This role provides key support to the project management team and has direct contact with the Customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates contractor and worker activities to ensure high-quality, safe work that meets project goals.
- Leads site installation efforts or works on a team with another lead.
- Works with conveyors, integrated systems, and third-party/customer equipment.
- Manages site logistics, material handling, and securing site/company equipment.
- Prepares and presents reports (oral and written).
- Ensures quality control (QA) on assigned jobs, including Non-Conformance Corrective Actions (NCCs).
- Maintains job site inventory and safety.
- Supports project management and team leader with tasks.
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with site and project personnel.
- Follows claims, change management processes, and reports changes/deviations.
- Monitors mechanical installation quality and resolves issues.
- Coordinates with engineering and vendors to address system issues.
- Reviews drawings, RFQs, and quality control checklists.
- Supports start-up and commissioning of equipment.
- Ensures materials and work comply with specifications.
Travel: Up to 90% of the time (domestic and international).
