About the RoleThe Behavox Platform is a scalable, fault-tolerant storage and processing system for managing and analyzing massive data volumes. We offer extensive APIs to develop products that enable clients to search, filter, and visualize relationships between data entities. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for production system availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning. You will collaborate with DevOps, Product, and Engineering teams to establish SRE best practices.
This role presents a unique opportunity to work with high-load, business-critical services. You will also implement your ideas in a fast-growing, modern environment and work with modern technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain high-load distributed storage and data processing systems in public clouds.
- Monitor, develop, troubleshoot applications, and provide incident support.
- Automate routine operations using Python/Golang.
- Maintain cloud-based services (GCP/AWS).
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux operating systems and networks.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience as an SRE/DevOps engineer.
- Experience with public clouds (GCP/AWS).
- Knowledge of relevant cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub or similar AWS technologies).
- Automation skills (SaltStack or similar tools, Ansible).
- Programming experience (Python, Golang, Java).
- Familiarity with Hashicorp stack (Terraform, Nomad, Consul, Vault).
