Full-Time Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and manage applications on CentOS servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform routine tasks for system and application maintenance.
• Follow SOPs to correct/prevent issues.
• Respond to and manage incidents, including post-mortem meetings, root cause analysis, and timely resolution.
• Monitor production systems, applications, and overall performance.
• Use tools to detect abnormal software behaviors and collect information for developers.
• Conduct security checks.
• Run meetings with business partners following in-place processes.
• Write, update, and maintain policy and procedure documents.
• Write scripts or code to develop tools and/or services.
• Learn from post-mortems to prevent future incidents.
• Perform administrative work on various tools (e.g., Jira, New Relic).
• Maintain Service-level objectives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in SaaS and cloud environments.
• Kubernetes cluster administration, including ArgoCD application management.
• Linux scripting for automation.
• Experience with database systems (MySQL, DB2).
• Linux (CentOS/RHEL) administration expertise.
• Change management procedures experience.
• Deep knowledge of on-call responsibilities and time management.
• Experience with on-call management tools (e.g., xMatters).
• Deployment management using Jenkins.
• Monitoring tools experience (e.g., New Relic, Splunk, Nagios).
• Log aggregation tools experience (e.g., Splunk, Loki, Grafana).
