Job Details
Objectives: Transform and design infrastructure for cloud hybrid environment. Build/maintain tooling for faster deployments. Monitor production availability and system health. Build software/systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications. Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market. Measure and optimize system performance for innovation and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and migrate on-prem applications to Google Cloud.
- Gather/analyze metrics (OS, applications, PaaS) for performance tuning and fault finding.
- Partner with development teams to improve services through testing/release procedures.
- Participate in system design, platform management, and capacity planning.
- Create sustainable systems/services through automation and uplifts.
- Balance feature development speed and reliability with service-level objectives.
- Assist local Ops, Administrators, and Networking teams.
- Develop simple applications for process automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
- Programming skills (structured and OOP): Python, Go, Java, C/C++, Ruby, JavaScript.
- Experience with distributed storage (Google Cloud Storage), dynamic resource management frameworks (especially Kubernetes).
- Proactive problem-solving, performance bottleneck identification, and improvement.
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud (GCP) and services (IAM, VPC networking, Cloud Run).
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure creation/maintenance.
- Advanced English speaking (C1 or better)
- French language skills (B2 or better) is a plus.
