Site Reliability Engineer Responsibilities:
- Build highly scalable and resilient applications/infrastructure in AWS with other Site Reliability Engineers.
- Maintain and improve extensible infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Maintain and improve deployment strategies.
- Design effective observability, monitoring, and alerting patterns.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS/Ph.D. or equivalent + 2 years experience
- Training in secure coding practices (preferred)
- Comfortable maintaining scripts in languages like Python, Ruby, JavaScript
- Experience maintaining AWS infrastructure
- Experience with CI/CD workflows (GitLab preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to competing projects
- Strong learning agility
Bonus Points:
- Python proficiency
- AWS Cloud certifications (Associate level)
- Experience with public companies
- Open-source contributions or technical blog experience
